Salutes Our Heroes |
St. Louis (Feb. 3, 2005) – Anheuser-Busch Cos. Inc. today
announced its “Heroes Salute” to honor the U.S. Armed Services by offering
free single-day admission to its SeaWorld and Busch Gardens parks to active
duty military, active reservists, U.S. Coast Guard, National Guardsmen
and as many as three direct dependents beginning Feb. 7 through Dec. 31,
2005.

During the Superbowl, millions were treated to Anheuser-Busch's
60-second “salute” television ad known as "Applause" The ad featured
the ordinary hussel and bussel of an airport, people reading their papers,
talking on their cell phones, etc. Then a group of soldiers begin
to walk through, instantly everyone drops whatever they are doing to give
our heroes a standing applause or handshakes as the soldiers walk by.
