No Rooms Near Camp Shelby For Families of Returning Soldiers The Clarion Ledger reports that there are no hotels available in the Hattiesburg area. Many of the hotels were damaged by Hurricane Katrina. The rest are filled by people who came up from the coast and large groups of workers who are working hard in the rebuild. Military officials say there is not much they can do about the situation, with their main focus being getting our soldiers home and not getting the families down there. Things could change by January. Everyone
