Family Support
 |
This site is filled with information on the support of
military families. It includes listings of family support centers,
information on TRICARE, family readiness, and a frequently asked questions. |
Opperation Hero Miles
 |
Operation Hero Miles provides a way for you to help our
troops stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan by donating your unused frequent
flyer miles. Efforts are underway to make the donated miles more broadly
available to all U.S. military personnel. |
TRICARE
 |
TRICARE is the Military Health System's health care program
for active duty military, active duty service families, retirees and their
families, survivors, and other beneficiaries. Reservists and National Guardsmen
(collectively known as the Reserve Component) are also eligible for TRICARE
coverage when they are on active duty. It is a fully integrated system
that brings together the health care resources of the Army, Navy, Air Force,
and Coast Guard, and then supplements them with civilian health care professionals
to provide better access and high-quality service, while maintaining the
ability to support military operations. |
|
Benefits
The TRICARE benefit can sometimes seem complex--it does,
after all, cover a diverse population of beneficiaries, under many different
circumstances, all over the world. That's why TRICARE offers so many different
publications to explain the program and its options for beneficiaries.
From the popular Frequently Asked Questions section to the authoritative
TRICARE Handbook, you'll find that all aspects of a subject are covered.
For easy access to special topics, you'll want to check out the News Release
section for breaking news, and then go to the Fact Sheets for thorough
explanations of particular TRICARE topics. It has never been easier to
find information about TRICARE programs and to stay informed. |
Homes For Our Troops
 |
We are a 501 (c)(3) non profit organization committed
to helping our troops and their families. As a volunteer staff, we are
working to raise money to build specially adapted homes for soldiers who
become disabled. Currently we are working to put the first of what we hope
to be many projects together for severely wounded soldiers. With
your help we can accomplish our mission. This is a nationwide effort, and
we need your help. |
|
The Mission
Our mission is to build specially adapted homes for our severely
disabled soldiers and their families. Since we started this organization,
we have had an outpouring of support from all across America. From monetary
donations, donations of building materials and equipment and fundraisers
being hosted in our benefit, people everywhere have embraced our effort
as their own and we want to thank everyone who has donated to this charity. |
Opperation Homefront

others around the world fighting the war on terrorism, thousands of spouses
and children are left behind, many in need. Operation Homefront is there
for them, supporting military families while their loved ones are deployed
and conducting the business of America. |
